   I wanted to know that does it visits the urls to check its status and if yes can that visit counted by the analytics code ?

   Yes, it visits the URLs. It doesn't execute JS though, so it will only be counted by analytics that don't rely on JavaScript. This means that Google Analytics (for example) won't count these visits.

   Hi Jānis,

   I love how thorough this plugin is. Two questions:

   -does this plugin index URLs by directly going through the DB, or by crawling my site?

   -what does it use to check the status of the URLs it finds? Curl? Ping? Something else entirely?
