An update occurred that should have resolved this issue. If not please contact me as I think it may be caused by a plugin conflict and if I could get a list of the plugins you are using it would be most helpful.

    Greetings,

I just installed this plugin today and when enabled I get an message that I have "insufficient privileges to access this page". I cannot enter the admin at any location and I have to forcefully remove the plugin from the FTP before I can access the admin again.

I have a wordpress multi-site install and we are a Brightcove partner vendor.

    Hi Eric,

Can I get a list of other plugins you are using? A couple of people have been having this issue and I think it might be caused by a plugin-conflict.

Edit: In addition what version of wordpress are you using?

    Hi Eric,

Is there any more to the error message beyond the insufficient access message? Unfortunately since most of those plugins are through WPMU Dev I can't test against them on a local install. A screen shot if you have one would be excellent but if not any other info would be great.

Edit: I was incorrect, after a little more digging I found WPMU Dev offers free access to their plugins without a membership but without updates. I will try recreating on a local machine. Any other info you have would be great.

Edit 2: I was incorrect once again, the system they have in place allows for only paid access to plugins just on an individual level. Sorry to keep going back and forth on this, some parts of their site were unclear. Any additional information would be helpful.

So I think I solved the "plugin breaks WordPress issue" had to do with my SFTP settings. I went in an manually overwrote with more lax settings (777) and that seemed to fix the admin.

I have configured my plugin but now on the add media screen under the Brightcove tab I just see a progress bar and its been sitting that way for 10 minutes. I tried closing out and trying again with the same results.

We have a lot of video on our account ~500 video and I wonder if its trying to load all of them?
