• My blog has an “Our Team” section / pages and when I enable the Drag & Drop Featured Image Plugin, it works great on all the sections I enable it for. However, I am unable to add additional team member pictures to the site because the plugin does not control the featured image for this section of the site (backoffice in WordPress), and it does not allow for featured images to be added traditionally neither. I would like to use the drag and drop featured image plugin within the “Our Team” page posts. Thanks for your help with this matter!

    BTW: Love the Plugin!

  • Hello!

Thanks, I appreciate you using the plugin! 😉
The “Our Team” section, is this a post-type, and if it is, how did you register it?
If you registered the plugin through the functions.php file, could you please paste the code used for registering it?

    Thanks in advance,
    Jonathan

    Hi Jonathan,

Yes, it is a post type in its own category as part of a WordPress template. So, “Our Team” shows up as a menu option on the left navigation bar of WordPress. Instead of having the drag and drop feature appear, it is just the normal link button. When clicking on the link bottom a grayed out box is chosen by default, and it does not allow you to pick and save another image. When I deactivate the plugin, I can pick and save another image and the gray box goes away.

I am not sure what you mean by “how did you register it?” I just went through WordPress plugin module and installed it. So, I am not sure what code I should paste. If you can be more descriptive, I would love to get you what you need. Sorry, I don’t understand.

    Hello again!

I’m still not quite sure what your “Our team” section is. Are you inside the regular wp-admin editing a post for a post type, or is it a page?

As you might know, the plugin is a meta box and is added through the default WordPress hooks. Any custom implementation might minimize the chances of the plugin working as it should.

Could you please give me a list of the plugins that you have active, and try using the browser console to see if it spawns any error.

    Thanks in advance,
    Jonathan
