When attempting to access the settings page:

PHP Warning: array_key_exists() expects parameter 2 to be array, boolean given in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\WordPress\wp-content\plugins\breadcrumb-navxt\breadcrumb_navxt_admin.php on line 581

    The default breadcrumbs do display.

Did you see a "You install is not complete. Complete your install now" message?

Nope. Nothing of the sort. Everything went fine with the install.

Well, I don't know what to tell you. There would have been a "Your install is not complete" message if this error is present (that message is generated by a test of the condition that this error is reporting). You probably ignored it and then tried to save settings, which taints the options entry (and causes more issues).

Where would this message have displayed, exactly? I didn't see anything.

And I couldn't save any settings as you mention, because the settings page was completely inaccessible. So nothing was done other than the install.

It should have displayed on the settings page for Breadcrumb NavXT, above the tabs for the different options.

Try resetting your settings, as outlined here: http://mtekk.us/archives/wordpress/plugins-wordpress/the-settings-not-saved-error/

Doing so would require me to be able to get into the settings page which I cannot due to the error.

Or am I missing something and there's another way to get into the settings other than the settings page?

    Thanks

You are using Breadcrumb NavXT 3.8.1, correct? The warning you are seeing should not actually stop the page from loading. There is something else wrong here. You could try deactivating and then activating the plugin.
