    Hi Andrea,
    Thank you for this very useful plugin. It works fine.
    Just get a trouble when using the javascrip minifying plugin WP-Minify which "compress" the JS,and CSS to speed up the display :
    When minifying the JS, the table always shows and the checkbox is inactive.

    This is likely resulting from wrong interpretation of the JS function bps_toggleForm which is included into the bps-searchform.php file ?
    Would be great if you fix it!
    Many thanks,
    Manu

    Hi Manu,

    I'd be happy to fix bps-searchform.php for compatibility with WP-Minify, but I don't know how to do that. Couldn't you just exclude bps-searchform.php from minifying?

    Hi Andrea,
    First of all, thanks for your prompt answer.
    I have tried to exclude bps-searchform.php from :
    - Minifying Javascript, but it does not work, since it is a PHP and not a JS file
    - Minifying HTML (URL), but it does not work either.
    The sole thing that works is disabling ALL JavaScript, but of course it is the worse solution.
    Maybe creating a specific JS file for the function might be a solution ?
    I'm not skilled enough to suggest any valuable solution ...
    Regards,
    Manu

    Ok, I'll add researching this issue to my (very long) to-do list.

    Hi Andrea,

    I'm not sure it is worth searching ...
    I found also problems with Simple-Forum which is a "standard" plugin.
    I've unistalled WP-Minify and installed W3 Total Cache instead : it works very well !
    So I think that WP-Minify is not properly coded, and I recommend that you suggest the use of W3 Total Cache if someone brings the issue again.
    By the way, using W3 Total Cache is a great value : the total time for loading the first page went down from 5-7 seconds to less than 2 !
    Regards
    Manu

    Hi Manu

    i saw on the website you mentioned that you could not get the Prodile Search to return results.

    I am having the same problem. I am using a custom theme.

    If I place the following

    <div id="members-dir-search" class="dir-search">

    					</div><!-- #members-dir-search -->

    <?php do_action ('bp_profile_search_form'); ?>

    Thenb it refreshes the page.

    If I place

    <div id="members-dir-search" class="dir-search">
    						<?php do_action ('bp_profile_search_form'); ?>
    					</div><!-- #members-dir-search -->

    Then the members list is refreshed but it shows all members....

    I have tried changing the members list in advance setting but with no luck - can you help? (Or anyone else?)

    Thanks in advance

    Elliot

    Aha. Fixed. Really silly - I disabled a widget and got it to work. The other widget was displaying member list.

    I did try changing the member list number but this hasn't worked.

    Sorry to intrude on the thread - will make a new one
