I can't seem to make this plugin work with BuddyPress 1.2 and WordPress (non-MU) 2.9.2. Do you think installing your BuddyPress Backward Compatibility extension would make any difference? Any other suggestions? Thanks.

Posted 2 years ago #Okay, I got the plugin to activate by renaming the directory to something that comes after BuddyPress alphabetically. Looks like the plugin needs a conditional to check that BuddyPress has initialized first before initializing itself.
Aside from this, though, the plugin still refuses to change the slug for any of my groups. I modify the slug and hit submit, but the page just reloads and the slug is back to what it was. :(

Posted 2 years ago #Update, I've discovered the plugin does allow me to successfully choose a custom slug during initial Group setup. I still continue to have no luck changing slugs on existing Groups.

I just tagged version 1.1 which is compatible with BuddyPress 1.2.
Seems I threw 1.0 together rather quickly and missed quite a few things in the process.
