   I searched hard for a plugin like yours and it is great for my purposes in every aspect but one - I need the ability to use posts's excerpt instead of first X letters of text.

   How it can be done?

   The plugin uses the_excerpt() by default.

   You can choose to use a modified amount of words for the excerpt via the options panel if you want to.

   No worries, I actually went back to the code to see how to add the feature. I have just been so busy lately I had forgotten it was there.

   Thanks for choosing BNS Featured Category ... I'd be interested in seeing where you are using it.
