[Plugin: Blubrry PowerPress Podcasting plugin] Can't modify RSS XML

    I need to make some changes to the XML file output by this plugin, and it doesn’t appear changing the plugin file feed-podcast.php has any effect. Which file can I edit to modify the XML output?

    The reason I want to change this file is that the plugin settings won’t allow me to use a non-default channel description and guid/link, nor can I disable the “Continue reading →” link (I want the full content to show).

    The file feed-podcast.php is only used if you either a) turn on the feed optimizer option or b) use the new iTunes order option to feature an episode at the top of the listing. Otherwise PowerPress uses the rss2 template included in WordPress. Since editing feed-podcast.php did nothing for you, I’m pretty sure what you want to edit is the wp-includes/feed-rss2.php file in WordPress.

    When you speak of “Channel” are you referring to “PowerPress podcast channels”? If so, you should be able to set the title, channel level description and link from PowerPress settings. You can also override the default podcast feed channel attributes if you enable “Podcast Channels” in PowerPress.
