implement setting to disable images for external links (3 posts)

    In the BlogText Plugin Settings page, I was able to do this:

    a.external{
    background-image:none;
    padding-left:0px;
    }

    It would be easier to have a checkbox to enable/disable this, possibly for specific types of external links.

    You can disable link icons by either unchecking "Use default filetype icons" or "Use default CSS file". If you only want to have a certain selection of file icons, uncheck "Use default filetype icons" and provide CSS for the icons you want. The setting "Use default filetype icons" does not disable this feature.

    I tried the "Clear Page Cache" for BlogText, and I also used my cache plugin's "Empty All Caches". Icons still appear next to links. I'm testing with links like http://example.com
