    Hello siriusly,
you can safely deactivate the plugin for testing purposes. The widget contents will remain in the database and will be back when you’ll re-enable the plugin.

    Thanks!

Hmmm. I recently upgraded wordpress and as part of the upgrade, you’re asked to deactivate the plugins. after the upgrade, I copied the plugin folder back but when I reactivate the plugin, not only is the content gone, but the text boxes I placed on my site were also gone.

    Hi sebobill,
please could you specify the wordpress version before and after the upgrade? And which version of Black Studio TinyMCE plugin were you running? Did you also change the site url or server during the upgrade? Did you lose other contents beyond the widgets created with our plugin?
