   ok so im trying to use this widget but nothing has changed except for the link now to upload an image.

   im on wordpress 3.4.2
   and have the following plug-in for pages installed:

   TinyMCE Advanced

   maybe thats conflicting?

   Black Studio TinyMCE Widget should work fine with TinyMCE Advanced. I just tested both plugins on a WP 3.4.2 installation and I had no issues.
   It is possible that some other plugin is conflicting. Which other plugins are you using? Please could you also check the javascript error/console log of your browser? Also if you can post a screenshot it may be helpful.
