Black Studio TinyMCE Widget
[resolved] Any way to change "Black Studio" title for clients? (3 posts)

    Not my request actually, but I had 2 clients already ask me if there's a way to change the "Black Studio" or remove it because it's confusing to them when they go in to edit their sidebars.. I don't think it's confusing at all, but I think the company name in there is what's throwing them off, they don't expect it.

    Just heard back from one of them again, and they're referring to the Title field, not the actual title of the widget - the fact that it's showing up in there automatically if they don't use the Title area is what's confusing them.

    Any way to use a function perhaps in the functions.php file to change it to "WYSIWYG Editor" or make it blank instead?

    Thanks!

    Hello,
    you can use the following code snippet in your theme's functions.php or in a custom site-specific plugin:

    function change_tinymce_widget_title($translation, $text, $domain) {
        if ($text == 'Black Studio TinyMCE')
            $translation = 'WYSIWYG Editor';
        return $translation;
    }

    add_filter('gettext', 'change_tinymce_widget_title', 10, 3);
