I've got this error when I entered a new API registered using a new email address.
BigDoor: Set Levels
Unable to locate your default experience level collection. Are the default settings installed yet?
Even after I click on "save" under API Settings the error persists! Any idea what I did wrong?

Did you run through the "install defaults" routine where it sets up your levels etc? After you enter your API key and save it, you should see a new menu item and a link on the settings page - both of which lead to the "install defaults" page.

yes I did, how about if I wanted to reset the score? How do I do that?
I noticed the update of the leaderboard is rather slow, for example take a look of demo page running at http://demo031010.beuniq.my
I've scored 140 XP under the user "Yu" but the leaderboard showing 90 XP which was the score 36 hours ago.
There's no functionality in the plugin itself to reset scores. It can be done, but not with the current version of the plugin.
Leaderboard updates are handled by the Big Door servers. Internally, the plugin gets that information and caches it, and refreshes the cache when new activity takes place (e.g. someone checks in or makes a comment)
It looks the leaderboard updated on your demo site.
As for your original issue, that appears to be fixed. Or at least the plugin is working. Is that error message still appearing?

thanks for the clarifications, on my previous issue, i had to reinstalled the entire wordpress to get it working again, deleting and adding back the plugin wont worked. That's why a reset button is vital.
Since it's Big Door servers handling the leaderboard, I can leave with the delay.
I've a user commented twice on the demo site but his/her scores didn't appear on the leaderboard?
BTW, do you customize plug-in as a project? I've few request such as:
1. Reset Button
2. Ability to copy the widget css to the theme's root directory for editing purposes. (In the case of mobile theme, I can customize the css for mobile viewing.)
3. Ability to change XP points (from the default 25) at any given time.
4. A dashboard for users containing simple information such as check-in counts, comments counts, unlocked badges and so on ...
The Leaderboard should update eventually. I'm not sure what the exact update interval is since that's handled on BigDoor servers.
