    with the rule

    if ($args ~* "(%0|%A|%B|%C|%D|%E|%F|127.0)") {
            set $susquery 1;
        }

    Standard search by URL http://HOST/?s=aword&submit=Поиск (please, note Russian translation for button name) is broken.

    Disabling this only rule helps, please take a look.

    Thanks!

  2. Ahh, so that's the case only with Russian searches? I have no way of fixing this myself but would like to work with you to do so (I can barely handle English much less Russian). Is that the only piece that is causing the issue and do you know if the issue is present in Apache as well?

    No, I have no chance to check in Apache. Search itself is not russian, russian symbols are only in submit label.

    Also, I do not really understand the rule I found as buggy in this situation - what should it filter?

  4. In all honesty that is a rule I am still tuning and was created in the port from Apache to NGINX. I will take a closer look but it is basically looking for this specific parameters and then blocking accordingly.
