First I would like to thank you for a wonderful plugin, makes it really easy to secure WordPress that little extra.

I have a problem with all the installations I have been doing with Better WP Security, and that is that I am not able to get it to not report on updates from a cache catalog.

From what I can understand, this is a typical way to exclude a file:

    wp-content/themes/theme-name/cache/index.html

Which is the same as comes up in the email report, I have added this to the File/Directory Check List exclude list. But when the file is updated (which naturally happens fairly often) it still triggers an email report.

As you can imagine I would not like to exclude the whole cache directory, but only the index.html file that is generated there.

  2. add wp-content/themes/theme-name/cache to your exclude list and you should be able to exclude the whole directory. I'm wondering if the file always exists or if it comes and goes depending on state?
