I get this error message since installing BWP when I switch theme.

Installed BWP last night with my customised theme active. Today I wanted to test something so I activated TwentyEleven. Now when I try to activate my real theme I get this error message....

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare _verifyactivate_widgets() (previously declared in /home/mysite/public_html/wp-content/themes/mytheme/functions.php:120) in /home/mysite/public_html/wp-content/themes/mytheme/includes/functions.php on line 133

I know you're going to say it's a theme issue because I can switch to other themes, but listen, switching between themes was fine before I installed BWP. Even with BWP deactivated the problem occurs, so it has to be something BWP changed that is causing this issue.

Now my heavily trafficked site has been in maintenance mode for 12 hours as I tried to work this out to no avail.

    Any suggestions?

Can you at least advise me on how to undo the changes this plugin made?

Seems the developer is no longer supporting this plugin. Pretty disappointing to abandon something that can break people's websites so badly.

  4. The issue your encountering is a theme issue and not caused by BWPS. Changes made by BWPS involve only the .htaccess file (you'll see the included entries) and the wp-config file if you've moved your wp-content folder or activated a couple of other features.
