   Since I updated to version 2.1.7 three days ago my nightly backup using WP-Cron is not automatically triggering. If I run the job manually, the backup works perfectly.

   Any ideas/suggestions?

   Plese try to deactivate and reaktivate the Plugin.
   or Resave a job.

   I followed your suggestions yesterday and now my nightly backup is working again.
