Now the old version is back. It looks leike a litel problem on the WP svn.
Pleace go back too old Version.

I hit install on the Dev version right before I saw the version number. I’ve gone back to v2.1.7, but all is still not well. I’m getting this message at the top of every page from W3 Total Cache:

One or more plugins have been activated or deactivated, please [empty the page cache] and check the [minify settings] to maintain the desired user experience.

Flushing the caches does nothing to get rid of the message. Even hitting the [hide this message] button does nothing. Help!

Problem fixed. BackWPup was not directly responsible.

My emergency disabling, file deletion, and reinstallation of BackWPup triggered a cache de-synchronization in W3 Total Cache. It took some wrangling to flush all the caches out, but when I finally did the site went back to normal.

That worked for me as well. Delete the “new” (dev) version and reinstall the 2.17. This is a very nice plugin – use it for all my WP sites.

    🙂

I have fixed the deactivation last night….

I just rated this plugin five stars (meant to do it earlier). Automatic nightly compressed backups to Amazon S3 is a fantastic feature.

Sorry for the late-ish response, but I got it to work. I like the new features, by the way and have rated it five stars.
