Just wondering if this plugin will ever work on a site that is password protected by .htaccess?

I get that nutty WP-Cron not working message and when I run a backup job it just sits there on the black screen. I know the WP Cron warning is incorrect because the plugin works perfectly with a separate WordPress install on the domain.

I’m an convinced the .htaccess security is causing the problem. This wasn’t an issue several versions ago.

If you have a Password protected .htaccess, you must go to the Plugin settings and add you Username and Passwort for Authentication.

WP-Cron will not work on Protected Blogs. For that you can use the last checkbox on the settings page. Than will backwpup.com trigger our cron with the definied auth data. For that Backwpup.com must save the auth data!

You rock! I can’t believe I didn’t see those fields for the UN/PW. Works perfectly now! Donation on the way.

    Thanks!
