BackWPup
can't calculate DB size in jobs list (3 posts)

I installed WordPress and BackWPup on a new web host. Now I have two issues which I suspect might be related.

    The first is the dreaded:
WP-Cron isn't working, please check it!

I would naturally suspect that this is the web hosts's fault, but I also noticed that BackWPup can't show the size of the database in the Jobs list.

In the 'Information' column instead of the size there's a spinning graphic. This stayed on even after I waited for several minutes.

This suggests to me that BackWPup somehow does not function properly, and this might also explain the WP-Cron issue.

By the way, manually activating backup jobs works.

    Hi,

try to call cron manualy: http://youblog.tld/wp-cron.php
did the cron than works ?

The displaying for the db info is made with a Ajax call.
Did you have import the job settings ? or so ?

Running the cron manually seems to be working, and the message WP-Cron isn't working, please check it! is not displayed any more in the wp-admin pages.

The db info is still not being displayed.

I did not import any jobs. I created new ones.
