[Plugin: Backup] scheduling problem

    Hi, I think your plugin is great, and works well when I do manual backups, but the scheduled backup feature doesn’t seem to work. Whenever I set a frequency for backup (Daily, Weekly, etc.) it says that the next scheduled backup is for the current day, current time. Eventually, though, the next minute comes along with no backup having been done. The log is empty, apart from the last manual backup I did, and there is nothing new on Google Drive. Is there something I’m doing wrong, or is it a problem with the server?

    Hi,

    There is no problem.

    The plugin schedules the first backup for the current time using the WordPress built in scheduling system. This system however triggers the scheduled event as soon as it can after the scheduled time has passed. ‘As soon as it can’ means if there is someone visiting your site. There are a number of factors that might prevent the event from triggering even if someone visits your site.
