Yeah, right now only Public photos are displayed in the gallery. I’m working on getting private photos to show up.

Yes, if you can include photos on flickr with restricted access that would be fantastic, and put this plugin in a class by itself. This is a critical feature – I have many family photos on flickr that are ‘friends and family’ only, and want to display them on my website with a similar level of permission. I’ve worked out doing that on the WP side, but have to allow the photos to be public on flickr to display them, which defeats the whole purpose.

This feature is still work in progress. I’m too tied up with my regular work and not able to spend time on the plugin right now. I’m hoping I can release this feature in a week or two.

    Hey Guys,

I have released version 3.0.0 of the plugin with support for private photos. Give it a try and let me know how is it.

    Thanks,
    Ronak

Thank you Ronak, I just tried your plugin on my web site and it works great with private photos!
Only one thing I was not able to configure or it is not available with the plugin maybe: disable the possibility to view and download images from the slideshow. I’m using ColorBox.
I hope you can clarify if there is this option.

    Thanks again!

I haven’t tried to do that on my site. May be you can try this plugin which prevents users from downloading the images via right-click. Also it would be a good practice to watermark your photos so that even if someone downloads those, they can’t really use it.

This is the link to download the plugin – http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/no-right-click-images-plugin/

I’m sure there will be some more of these.

Thank you Ronak, I will try to add this additional plugin.
I would prefer to avoid watermarks but probably it is the unique solution to really protect image copyrights.
