   I got the alert to upgrade to the new version of Extended categories widget, however after upgrading it doesn't reactivate and I get the white screen of death. I went back to the previous version from my backup and its back to normal.

   This happened on two separate sites on different servers.

   With version 3.01 it looks like the issue has been fixed.
