Crayon Syntax Highlighter
[resolved] Plugin automatically creates an empty folder public_html/themes (6 posts)

An empty directory called "themes" gets automatically created at the root of my public_html directory.
I use WordPress Multisite 3.5, but I activated the plugin only on one of my blogs in the network.
After deactivation of Crayon Syntax Highlighter the issue seams to disappear.

Please update to the latest github zip. I've taken extra measures against this now, but it may mean that there's a bug with the code I'm using to detect the upload directory. Let me know if this bug is no longer occurring and also whether you're able to duplicate a theme.

I'm sorry, I stopped using this plugin, because it breaks one of my blogs (named "themes") in the network.

No worries. I also noticed the "themes" directory made on the 2nd of January, but after deleting it didn't come back, so most likely the subsequent updates to the dev version have fixed any issues.

It is quite possible to use it again in the future, but for now I use small pieces of snippets and is seams enough to use the html pre tag.

Actually that was the main reason I have chosen your plugin, because it has backward compatible with pre tag and after plugin deactivating nothing breaks :)

Thank you for taking the time for this!
