• I’m not exactly clear if this is supposed to do what I was looking for.

I have a bunch of old posts with images attached to them, but they don’t have a WP Featured image set. I’m looking for something to scan those old posts and permanently set the featured image based on whatever the first image in the post is.

I’m not looking for something like get_the_image that runs in realtime within the loop to grab photos. I want run once and then uninstall.

Anyway, I thought this did that, maybe not?

    Hi, sorry about the delay.

Currently this is not implemented yet. The plugin is only looking for HTML IMG tag in the post body. However, it shouldn’t be too hard to implement.

Did you find anything else or are you still in need of this feature?

Never did find an automated solution. I set the last 10-20 manually and that was minimally sufficient for what I needed.

I searched the repository for while but gave up.
