    I am using Version 1.2

I think that has something to do with the functions of the theme. Is there an option to cut off all the functions from that plugin and just let the links produces lightboxes?

Sorry, my english is not so good.

    Hi albumcheck,

Thanks for using Auto ThickBox Plus.

    http://www.fotoquarelle.de

I checked your site. You use original ThickBox resources (built-in thidkbox.js/css), don't you? Original thickbox.css has a bug about CSS z-index.

In your site, black shadow header/footer covers (hides) ThickBox window. So in large image such as "Rheinische Post", ThickBox cannot be closed by clicking top/bottom side of the image including close button.

    There are two solutions.

    1. Change Auto ThickBox Plus option
      • Uncheck [General] - [ThickBox Resources] - [Use WordPress built-in thickbox.js/css] option
    2. Modify original thickbox.css
      • Open /wp-includes/js/thickbox/thickbox.css, and change four z-index values to bigger number than 999 (means header/footer z-index). I recommend to multiply the number by 100.

Sorry, my english is not so good.

    Don't mind. Me too.

    Hi,

thanks for your message. The funniest thing is that sometimes the lightboxes are changing with their function of not-closing.

    :(

Now I make the tick out of ThickBox Resources -> Use WordPress built-in thickbox.js/css (some extra features will be disabled). ( under appearance in the wordpress dashboard)

After that I just look at the editor from the plugin. BUt where I can find /wp-includes/js/thickbox/thickbox.css ?

Do I have to change it via FTP?

At the editor I only the these headlines:

    auto-thickbox-plus/auto-thickbox.php
    auto-thickbox-plus/anchor-utils/anchor-utils.php
    auto-thickbox-plus/thickbox.css
    auto-thickbox-plus/thickbox.min.js
    auto-thickbox-plus/readme.txt
    auto-thickbox-plus/thickbox.min.css
    auto-thickbox-plus/auto-thickbox-options.php
    auto-thickbox-plus/thickbox.js
    auto-thickbox-plus/auto-thickbox.js
    auto-thickbox-plus/auto-thickbox.css

    Thanks for help!

hehe, I saw that the plugin works without closing X only clicking on that open lightbox and everything is fine

There are some things I don't have to understand.

    LOL.

All you do is either of the two solutions. So you do not need to modify original thickbox.css since you unchecked "Use WordPress built-in thickbox.js/css" option.

    where I can find /wp-includes/js/thickbox/thickbox.css?

Original thickbox.css is included not Auto ThickBox Plus but WordPress. In your site, it is located at http://www.fotoquarelle.de/wp-includes/js/thickbox/thickbox.css.

Do I have to change it via FTP?

Yes, but you do not need to change it in this problem.

    Thank you very much!

As I told you now it works. Good, that I don't have to change anything via ftp.

    You're great. :)
