[resolved] Excluding a photo using Auto ThickBox (4 posts)

    First of all, I have to congratulate Auto ThickBox developer for providing such a fine plugin. It's simply amazing.

    Now, by default Auto ThickBox takes all photos on a page in the gallery. Is there any configuration that some photos or one photo can be excluded as it is not part of the gallery but actually a header or footer of a certain page?

    Example - I have 10 face pics and 1 banner to say 'face pics' - I don't want that banner to be part of the Auto ThickBox gallery on that page.

    Any guidance boyz and galz?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi SzebastianOne,

    Thank you for using Auto ThickBox Plus.

    In current version, this plugin overlays all images in either "Gallery Images" or "Single Image" style. I intend to improve the feature in future release.

    Until then, you need to specify <a rel=""> manually to exclude some images from default gallery.

    If your code is as follows,

    <a href="banner.png">
        <img src="banner_thumb.png" alt="face pics" />
    </a>
    [gallery link="file"]

    Add rel="gallery-banner" to <a> tag. rel attribute value is arbitrary.

    <a href="banner.png" rel="gallery-banner">

    While Adding class="nothickbox", ThickBox does not overlay the image.

    <a href="banner.png" class="nothickbox">

    Thank you AttoSoft. I am not a programer, so I will ask my team member to look at this. Thank you for timely response.

    I do look forward to this feature availability in newer versions.

    Regards

    All right but the code is HTML source code. I guess that you use Visual Editor in Edit Post/Page screen. You can specify rel or class attribute via Image Settings dialog.

    1. Select an image in Visual Editor
    2. Click "Edit Image" icon - "Advanced Settings" tab
    3. Input rel attribute value (e.g. gallery-banner) into "Link Rel" field or input class attribute value (i.e. nothickbox) into "CSS Class" field
