It's a real shame since similar widgets just don't have as many options or RSS feeds for the authors.
I input the username of the author I want to exclude and the widget doesn't show any authors at all. It shows the widget, but nothing bellow.

Also this thing pulls who to list on who posted blog entries, not if people are currently a blog author. Not the way to go for older blogs.
