We have more than a few plugins hosted on the WordPress repo and we try to provide a diligent level of support for them. Since there there is no dedicated plugin support interface for plugin authors/contributors, we have attempted a work-around by tagging all of our plugins with ‘twinpictures’. Then, as often as possible, we visit:
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tags/twinpictures
to view a list our plugins. We then view each plugin one-by-one and check out it’s support form to see what assistance is needed.

This has worked well for the last year, however lately there is some buggy behavior:
When we update a plugin, it will either
    a) go to the top of the list, or
    b) drop of the list completely.
This makes it very hard to provide support using the WordPress Forum.

Has any other plugin authors hacked together their own method of monitoring the support forum of their own plugins? Is there some kind of trick to ensure a plugin can be indexed under a specific tag? All ideas are appreciated, thank you.

Update: After re-submitting the readme.txt file with a reordered tag list, the missing plugins are showing up. Strange.

So, guess the tag method is kind of working again. Would be wonderful is there was an API so we could access the WordPress.org support via our own management tools.
