   When I install and activate this plugin in the sidebar, it shows up and looks good. The problem is that it selects the same author no matter who posted the blog post. Are there any complications when using this plugin with other plugins? When I disable and enable the widget, the author changes to the next author in the list (alphabetical order). Weird. Any help or suggestions are more than welcome.

   Weird indeed! Which version of the plugin do you use? Are you using any other Author related plugins, do you also use the User Photo and CO Author plus plugins?
