    is there a chance to store all avatar pics in a dedicated folder/directory (e.g. uploads/avatars)instead of mixing them with other uploads. this would also help to prepare the right .htaccess file for this directory ;) otherwise I still need to find a way to filter the avatar pics out of the ReWriteRule ... which did not work so far.

    Does not have to be a feature. Some php code and a place to add/change it would be fine.

    Thanks and cheers,

    In case I am not the only one using the UAM plugin to protect files, this is the .htaccess you need to use to prevent UAM from filtering the avatar pics of this plugin (its dirty but the best I found):

    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]

    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !_avatar-

    RewriteRule (.*) /index.php?uamfiletype=attachment&uamgetfile=$1 [L]

    It will not block files with "_avatar-" in their name. If you have a better idea ... I am listening :)
