[Plugin: Audio Player] Music does not start in Firefox w/o scrolling the page

I am using this plugin with WP 3.1.1 and it works fine, I especially appreciate the possibility of changing the skin colors.
However, in Firefox 3.6.16 the mp3 file does not start until I scroll the page down to the bottom where the player is placed (I place it inside the page code because I need a different mp3 on each page).
This happens in Firefox 3 only while in the other browers it works great.
Has anyone found a solution for this?
If not, have you tested other plugins for the same use which are skinnable?
