Right so I activated this plugin and went ahead with the installation up till the settings page where I configured my login and password etc., until finally activating the ‘Password Protect wp-admin’ thing. I activated it (http://wavegaming.net/wp-admin/), but then it gave me a ‘nothing found’ error. And now I’m unable to login to my dashboard. So I logged in to my hostgator cotrol panel and deleted the plugin folder but still nothing.

The irony of all this is that the plugin claims that it doesn’t mess with the dashboard at all.

This is an urgent matter and amy help is appreciated.

And I can’t find any .htaccess file in my wp-admin using a ftp program.

Right so cpanel’s ftp program hid the .htaccess files from me so i got a flash of genius and used filezilla instead.

I’m never using this plugin again.
