    I'm wanting to know how to mod the Asideshop posting to mimic the CSS of my website.

    For instance, my regular posts show up with a white background and the asides that I post show up with no background. I'm guessing it's an easy fix, but I'm a newb when it comes to modding plugins.

    Can anyone help? Here's my website:

    Thanks!

    Don't you have under Settings an admin page for the plugin where you can specify exactly what "template" should be used for the "asides"? You don't need to mess with the plugin file...

    Yeah, there's a setting option there. I'm just not sure how to introduce style code into this template. Does that make sense?

    I can get the options of what I want the post to show, just not how I want the post to look aesthetically. Here's what my current template looks like:

    '<div class="post" id="post-%post_id%">
    	<p>
    		%post_content% <a href="%comments_url%">(%comments_count%)</a>
    <br />%post_date%</br>
    	</p>
    </div>'

    How can I make the background turn white?

    1. You can do it there, e.g. how mine is done:

    <div style="background:#eee;border-top:solid 1px #9a8;border-bottom:solid 1px #9a8;margin:15px;padding:4px;">
    <p>%post_content% (<a href="%comments_url%">comments: %comments_count% </a>)</p>
    </div>

    2. Or you can just define a div around your asides with its own calss, and add all the style definitions into the stylesheet.
