URL Embedding does not work with this plugin and wp 3.3
if I understand it right, it should be enough to post a standard youtube link like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1LX6XO14Lkk in the content section, publish it and if should show the player?

Yes, you're correct - I've just tried it and found the same problem. I'll look into it.

I have found a not so nice solution for it:
switch to html view, insert voutube link without any tags.
a line with content must be before and after the line with the youtube link.
I've had a chance to test it properly now and, well, it works.
It doesn't like anything on the same line, so don't put it mid sentence - make sure this includes links around the URL, etc - but that's how it's always been.
I can't see anything about 3.3 that's made it operate any different.
