   Installed, activated, and nothing! Same old original date still showing. Using WordPress Theme 2011.

   Correct. You need to change your theme to call the alternative version - details are in the instructions.

   Ah, OK, I understand now. I must add the function call to my theme. That I can do but where in the theme?

   Depends where you want it. Unfortunately, I can't help with individual themes as they are all different.
