   Tried creating a template, but all I get is a "You are not allowed to edit this post" message

   I am encountering the same problem. I wonder if it's a compatibility issue with one of the recent WP updates, because I've been using it for years, and never had a problem before. I'd love to find out what the problem is, though!

   I'll give this a try; thanks!

   BTW, I sent an email to the plugin author alerting him to the issue. He's pretty busy right now with work, etc., so I don't know when he'll be able to get to it, but at least he does now know that there's a bug. :)
