   Could you please add category and tag options like the Post Templates plugin does? Your plugin would be PERFECT if it included these two additions :)

   Post Templates hasn't upgraded to 2.8 yet and doesn't respond to support questions.

   FWIW Not being an experienced PHP person I had to change all of the <?= to <?php echo to get it to work on my environment,

   Great plugin idea, too bad it seems not being updated.

   Here is anyway another enhancement suggestion:
   Allow to include meta parameters in the template
