    Hi,
Tried a feedburner feed but that didn't work.
It works with the feed allready configured but not with the feedburner feed.

This is the feedburner feed I tried to get showing:

    Hello Handig,

I will look into this in more detail later this morning, and report back to you when I've determined what's going on here. Expect a release later today that resolves this issue.

Thanks for reporting this issue! Without folks like you, WordPress plug-ins would be doomed to forever be buggy and broken. :)

    Hi Handig,

I think the issue here was caused by that feed having broken images in it. When I was last testing it, all three of the images were broken- though earlier one was functional.

I have made changes to the code to detect broken images on the fly, and remove them from the slide show. This should resolve this issue.

Please let me know if you have any trouble with the new version. Thanks!

    Hi,
It worked with the feedburner feed above, but didn't work with this feedburner feed:

    http://feeds.feedburner.com/sinterklaaskadotips (no images found?)

I also tried http://www.sinterklaaskado.com/rss.php and that didn't work either (blank widget).

    Hi,
I noticed the second url works with the new version 1.09 but the feedburner feed is still not showing in Anyfeed.

    Hi Handig,

Sorry I missed your earlier response! I will check into that Feedburner feed as soon as I have a moment.

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi Handig,

This would appear to be an issue with malformed XML. I have added some regex to correct these issues before they reach the JavaScript; The fix worked perfectly in my test environment, so let's hope it does the same for you.

You can find the fix in 1.0.10.

    Thanks for the report!

    Hi Soleil,
I tested your new 1.0.11 but the three feeds (above) aren't working anymore. Is the fix for the malformed xml gone in 1.0.11?

    Hi,
I looked again for this feed:
    http://feeds.feedburner.com/sinterklaaskadotips
and something shows but I noticed that the image is not replaced by a new image even if the timing settings are only 1,000 ms

Also this feedburner feed doesn't show at all. It stays on 'loading'.

    Hi Handig,

The first feed link works perfectly on a fresh install of the latest version of the plugin using Firefox 3.6 in OS X:
    http://feeds.feedburner.com/sinterklaaskadotips

    What browser/OS are you using?

The second feed is definitely a problem that I will look into ASAP (hopefully today).

Thanks as always for being so diligent about reporting these bugs.

    Hi,
But did you notice that the first feed link does show, but that the slideshow doesn't continue? It seems to stay on the first image.

    Hello again Handig,

I checked the source of the Feedburner feed you listed as not working:
    http://www.goedkopeaanbieding.nl/wordpress/feed/

The only images listed in that feed are 1px by 1px images feedburner inserts into each item for tracking purposes. The Anyfeed Slideshow plugin strips those (as well as the feedburner comment count) images out of it's results to avoid including effectively blank images in the slideshow.

In other words, the bug here is it should be displaying a "No Images Found" error. I will look into fixing that for the next version.

Thanks again for reporting these issues! As for your other feed problems, could you try uninstalling and re-installing the plug-in to see if that clears up the problems you're experiencing?

    Thanks!
