Hi,
Thanks for the heads up on your plugin over at Your Members!
I installed it and used the shortcode. The pages (1,2 previous, etc) when clicked default to my home page. I have the permalinks set to /%postname%/ on the WP settings.
I was also wondering if there were any templates to format the information so that it isn't all one wide page...
Thanks!
Nina

'Tis a bug, I'm sorry to say. See
http://webdesign.anmari.com/1942/public-user-lists-or-directories-pagination-and-permalinks/ for fix.
RE: templating and styling.
Since it was mainly aimed at being a backend admin list (where wide tables not an issue) I had not attempted to offer more formatting other than
- being able to control which fields and field order
- whatever css one can apply to the tables in addition to what the theme does.
I must say sometimes long content (urls etc) can be a pain as different browsers cope with overflowed tables differently.
Also bear in mind user privacy - limit fields you display accordingly.
That said I've had a few requests (combining fields into one column, control over links behind fields etc) so may consider adding some possibilities in. If you have a specific requirement, think about how to write up it up and add it to my bugs and features list, or vote for any existing feature requests.
Thank you very much.
Your plug-in works great to sort through our membership data. We will now be able to format it through excel sheets to create a directory. It would be really great to be able to do that with your plug-in someday. I have voted for some of the features (or I think I did, I hit the 'sponsor' button next to the vote?).
Thank you!
You did - an update going up now (2.3.4) with some extra options which may help a bit with formatting options - see changelog. In playing around with it, I can see more that should be done. eg: forcing some links in can block some formatting ideas... but need to leave this for a bit.
Let me know how you go and if the changes help (can combine fields and add before/after html) So in theory you could dump all fields into 1 column with html.
(Reset (will lose your settings) to see examples.)
