Sorry for bothering you again with a problem, that has been discussed in quite many ways but has not been satisfactorily resolved yet (in my opinion):

Your mentioned that with parameters as "days=n", "startoffset=-n" etc. it is possible to show also events that started in the past. That's right, but I still can't make a clear distinction between the following "type" of events:

    1) PAST events: events that started ANY DAY IN THE PAST (startoffset=-n), but are NOT ONGOING AT THE PRESENT DATE (they're really over).

    2) ONGOING events: events that ARE NOT FINISHED YET, REGARDLESS WHEN THEY STARTED.

    3) FUTURE events: events that HAVE NOT YET STARTED.

It would be so useful for me (and I guess many other users) to have a solution for that problem. Thank's a lot for your competent help.

Ahh I think I get what you are getting at... so far we have really been talking about start dates, whereass you are looking for something (css styling??) that would reflect the end date status as well (or perhaps the combination)

I think the problem is maybe in the css history class logic. At the moment History is I think "it started before today", whereas it perhaps should be "it has finished already."

"today" class should possibly rather be an ongoing class? or an additional class?

I'll make a note of this ... goto go cook dinner now. Will look at it next time I have time for the ical.
