   How do you create an event on the free version?

   What is the [iCal http://youricsurl.ics how does that work. I am confused.

   I'm unable to add events - I've looked at the screenshots on this page:
   http://icalevents.com/screenshots/screenshots-events/

   and I don't see an "Events" tab in WordPress, nor an "Events" link under the Posts tab.

   I need for my client to be able to enter events in WordPress, not in another calendar that is then imported. How do I set it up so I can add events like in the screenshots on your site?

   If you have to read the documentation to create an event, the script is a failure.

   @caps, the suggest was to read the info available - one page only the home page so you would see which of my work is free and which is not.

   @tinuviel, Please see home page of icalevents.com where the plugins are compared.

   The plugin hosted at wordpress (free) uses ics files as input.

   To create events in wordpress with custom post types, taxonomies, location etc, you need amr-events - paid memberbership is required to access that plugin.
