I'm interested in outputting top level parents for pages, or even more specifically, the top level page in the navigation, which I guess could be called a section.

    e.g. :

    About
    - History
    - Our People
    -- John Smith
    -- Jane Smith
    Portfolio
    - Investments
    - Assets
    Contact

So, the preferred class in the body tag on the John and Jane Smith pages would be something like "section-about" and not just the immediate parent.

It should be possible to do something like that. I'll look into adding that feature in the next version of the plugin, due for release shortly after WordPress 3.3 comes out.

And before you ask, no, I don't know of any easy fix that you can do in two minutes to get it working right now. If I did, I would tell you -- better yet, I would have already done it myself. :)

    Thanks,

I'll take a look myself, I'm just not very familiar with WordPress. I haven't looked into the menu system at all. I'm not even sure this is necessary. Since WordPress' strength is as a blogging platform, hopefully the number of pages on a site will be limited to a brochure website level. If that is the case, then any developer can just use CSS to accomplish this.
