[Plugin: AlphaOmega Captcha & Anti-Spam Filter] A session had already been started?

    When I activate the AlphaOmega plugin on one site, I get this message:

    Notice: A session had already been started – ignoring session_start() in /home/www/www/wp-content/plugins/alphaomega-captcha-anti-spam/alphaomega-captcha-and-anti-spam.php on line 82

    I tried deactivating all the other plugins, and still got this message. I tried a different theme, and still got this message. I have another site which works fine with this plugin, so there’s something different with this site.

    Any ideas what it could be conflicting with?

    Thank you for your comment.

    All WordPress Themes tested and obtained from the WordPress Themes Repository worked fine with the plugin. These are unmodified Themes provided by WordPress.

    Themes that have been modified in any way or that differ from the standard Theme provided by WordPress may not necessarily be compatible and are not supported. Hence, the use of standard unmodified WordPress Themes is recommended.

    In any case, I have included additional checks in the plugin in an effort to obviate any potential conflicts. You may wish to install the current plugin available from WordPress.

    If issues persist, please let me know which Theme you are using and I can test it. Thank you.

    I am using a custom theme, but I briefly tested it in Twenty Ten, Twenty Eleven, girl from ThemesPackm, and Strawberry Blend By Maruf Rahman, and it still gives me the error message. I’m sure you’d have tested at least one of those.

    And I also mentioned I temporarily disabled the other plugins.

    So, since I’ve ruled out plugins and themes, what’s left? What else is there that could possibly be conflicting with this plugin?
