    Hi guys,

I'm very new to SEO so not clued up really.

I've filled out all of the titles, descriptions and keywords for every page on my site and I'm seeing some results (although limted) when searching on Google now.

The only issue I'm seeing though is that when Google displays my main page in it's listings the title of the page is fine but the description starts with the date the page was created, which was March 11th.

This dates my page and I can't have that as it will soon look old.

Is this common and what can I do to stop this happening for my main domain page.

I'm using Woothemes Biznizz theme if that helps.

    Thanks in advance!
    :)

Are you referring to a PAGE or a POST on your site?

It's pretty normal for Google to list the data a POST was published, and really- I wouldn't worry too much about that. If it's a page however, I would say that's a problem and needs fixed.

Hi! I actually thought it was a page but looking closely it's actually text from the homepage that is displayed in a content bucket, created by a POST.

Not a problem, thanks so much for your reply!
