• Hi all,

    I’m using WP 2.7.1 with All in One SEO Pack 1.4.91. I’m actually trying of getting rid of rel canonical on some page created by some plugins. I succeed in deleting plugin built-in canonical (directly form the plugin), but can’t get rid of the last canonical, which seems to be generated with AIOSEO.

    Tried :

    remove_action(‘wp_head’, ‘rel_canonical’);
    remove_action(‘wp_head’, ‘canonical_meta’);

    Nothing seems to work

    Any ideas ?

  • Same problem i am facing but i edited AIOSEO manually and created a condition on the line which is generating canonical url so now it’s excluding specific pages which i used in the condition but this way is really not that good because i always have to edit the plugin file again after upgrading the plugin so i am also looking for someway to exclude specific pages from generating canonical url’s it without editing the plugin file.

    Any suggestions?
