Getting rid of canonical on specific page (2 posts)

    Hi all,

    I'm using WP 2.7.1 with All in One SEO Pack 1.4.91. I'm actually trying of getting rid of rel canonical on some page created by some plugins. I succeed in deleting plugin built-in canonical (directly form the plugin), but can't get rid of the last canonical, which seems to be generated with AIOSEO.

    Tried :

    remove_action('wp_head', 'rel_canonical');
    remove_action('wp_head', 'canonical_meta');

    Nothing seems to work

    Any ideas ?

    Same problem i am facing but i edited AIOSEO manually and created a condition on the line which is generating canonical url so now it's excluding specific pages which i used in the condition but this way is really not that good because i always have to edit the plugin file again after upgrading the plugin so i am also looking for someway to exclude specific pages from generating canonical url's it without editing the plugin file.

    Any suggestions?
