    Hello,

I am having an issue with the all-in-one-seo-pack. I previously used it many times with no issues whatsoever. What seems to be happening is that search engines do not seem to read the description under the description meta tag and instead, some random text from my article is displayed. I have the latest version of wordpress as well as the all-in-one-seo-pack. When I go to file -> view source, the description tag is there. I tried multiple templates, multiple sites and the result is the same: no description meta tag. Am I the only to experience this?

    Thanks.

No. But then Google, Yahoo (and possibly other search engines) completely ignore the meta-keyword and met-description tags in favour of the actual page content.

No. Google looks at your description, looks at your page content, and then decides what to show in the search results, which will vary depending on the exact search.
Google has explained this many times.
