could you post the URL to your site?
I just updated the plugin, now the icon is displayed on the settings page if uploaded correctly.

Thanks for responding.
I found the problem. I was trying to be clever by linking directly in header.php to a theme-independent favicon location. Your plugin works exclusively with the standard theme-specific approach.

Just downloaded the plugin – thanks.
Used the settings page to upload a frontend and backend (dont know what they mean!) .ico image. Image shows alongside as expeceted. Saved.
No icon next to tab in Internet Explorer. Help please!
Is there something else I should be doing?

Internet Explorer is behaving really weird when it comes to sites changing the favicon.
