All-in-One Event Calendar
Multiday events not displaying properly (14 posts)

    You can see the behavior here: http://cardqbclub.com/calendar/#action=ai1ec_month&ai1ec_month_offset=1&ai1ec_post_ids=

    Is there something with my wordpress theme's CSS that might be causing this problem? Notice how July 3rd and July 5th are just showing a tiny part of the multiday bar. If you hover over it you can view and click on the multiday event.

    I tried customizing this part in calendar.css but wasn't able to get it looking pretty, so I reverted back:
    .ai1ec-month-view .ai1ec-allday .ai1ec-event,
    .ai1ec-week-view .ai1ec-allday .ai1ec-event,
    .ai1ec-oneday-view .ai1ec-allday .ai1ec-event,
    .ai1ec-month-view .ai1ec-multiday .ai1ec-event,
    .ai1ec-week-view .ai1ec-multiday .ai1ec-event,
    .ai1ec-oneday-view .ai1ec-multiday .ai1ec-event {
    background-color: #507295;
    color: #ffffff !important;
    }

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi Vaterr,

    This is strange. Which version of WP and ai1ec do you have? Can you try
    manually reinstalling the plugin: http://help.then.ly/customer/portal/articles/534931-how-do-i-manually-upgrade-

    I'm having a very similar problem, but very inconsistently. See this link: http://blog.iirp.edu/calendar/#action=ai1ec_month&ai1ec_month_offset=3&ai1ec_post_ids= (that is for October)

    Thanks.

    I'm running wordpress 3.3.2 with the Big City Theme (Ver.1.4) by the way.

    WP v3.4.1 and ai1ec 1.7.

    I will try a manual reinstall. How do I go about modifying the CSS so that my customizations aren't overwritten every time I update ai1ec? Those gradients you added the upcoming events module makes it a challenge to customize to your liking.

    You can create a child theme (and make the CSS modifications within this child theme) so that when you upgrade your CSS modifications are not overwritten: http://help.time.ly/customer/portal/articles/541097-how-do-i-create-a-child-theme-

    Josh - please also try manually reinstalling and then let me know if the issue persists.

    Same problem: Multiday events not displaying properly inconsistently... just showing a tiny part of the multiday bar, the bar is shown at a wrong place on top of the dates bar..should be shown in the field below the dates...

    using:
    wp 3.3.2
    ai1ec 1.7.1 premium was a problem with 1.6.x free also

    Hi,

    This could be a conflict with yours WP-theme. Please set yours WP-theme to default(twenty-eleven) and check is this same issue.

    I suggest trying the new version of calendar
    http://time.ly/.

    Please give us feedback it works or not.

    Regards

    Same problem after switching to Twenty Eleven theme. Can't download the new version, it says the "File not found" when clicking on the download image.

    Thanks, I see you are working on this. I also notice you are addressing a conflict with WordPress SEO in v. 1.8. I tried the Beta version and FYI it does correct the latter conflict. However, now I cannot move to other months on calendar to check if the original issue raised on this thread is addressed. I will, however, check back, for the promised update within the next 24 hours and let you know how that goes. Thanks, Josh

    Is there any plugin or method for getting this ?
    say:

    Hi,

    We currently don't have a way to do this in house. If someone comes up with a method, we'd be happy to hear it.

    One thought is that you could pull the ics feed first.
