All-in-One Event Calendar
[resolved] Incorrect Event Times (11 posts)

On the event page (Front-end), the Start time is incorrect on the "When:" line. It shows two hours later time (so often shows a Start Time later than the End Time).

    + + +

On the Edit Event page (Admin), whilst setting the End Time, the duration shown in brackets is often incorrect with 1:00 hr error.

I am not sure if this is a plugin or browser issue (IE9) but every time I use the calendar control, I get a:
"Are you sure you want to leave this page?" pop-up.

    + + +

A few problems but overall, it looks great.

    Hi mystifier,
The bug with incorrect start time in "When:" is fixed in our development version and will be available in 1.0.8.
You can track the development process here: http://trac.the-seed.ca/

    Thanks Yani,

That is the most serious bug because it is the most fundamental and I noted that it also affects the demo.

I was going to try to find a fix to post today.

A very large majority of my 400+ events that are imported from a google calendar end up having the wrong time span completely, with generally a 4 hour later time difference, on both the event page and on the admin side.

This event is even more incorrect than the majority, with a 6 hour time difference, that is not in the calendar being imported.

I love the calendar, so I hope this problem is on the list of things to fix!

We are releasing v1.0.8 in ~1 hour.
Can you let me know if you are still seeing incorrect dates after updating?
    Thanks!

The update to 1.0.8 fixed this issue.

Thanks very much for the truly excellent plugin and great work!

I went through many calendar and event plugins before settling on this one, and have to say, it's really well thought-out and very useful.

    Cheers!

Important: I run my block from Zambia, there is no Zambia in the time zones. We dont have daylight saving so I can not put Athens as it will indicate a wrong time for my events. Can you add manual offsets for time zones just like in the general settings! thank you in advance.

    @ntula_base
    Thank you for reporting this.
Next time, please use our trac setup here: http://trac.the-seed.ca/

The problem is fixed in v1.0.9
In v1.0.9, you should select Africa/Lusaka as your timezone.
Let me know if you are still experiencing that issue.
